FORT BOWIE's Hidden Secrets

This week we spent some time in Safford, Arizona as well as visited Fort Bowie National Historic Site in Bowie, Arizona. Fort Bowie is a historic outpost in Arizona and we took a hike around the NPS site. The story of what happened in the area is fascinating.

Our time at Roper Lake State Park is a great state park in the area and allows access to Dankworth Pond as well. The sites are well spaced and sites on the Cottonwood loop have a small gazebo that allows for some outside meals without burning up in the sun.

Whether you're a history buff or just a curious explorer Fort Bowie is for you. Emily also took some time this week to fix our stove vent, which has been broken for a few weeks. It's possible this fix on the airstream is right for you too!
